NED
Nicolina was appointed as a Board Apprentice / Observer for Aldermore Bank PLC (a Tier 2 UK Bank) and Hope Macy (a Fintech SME) in 2021. She has particular focus on Nominations, Risk and Corporate Governance in terms of committees and has experience of the requirements of PRA and FCA regulated organisations.
She has served as an Independent Panel Member for the Ministry of Justice since 2018. She is experienced in assessing and recommending senior candidates for appointment to NED, SID and Judicial roles and holds a Public Appointment in this regard. Nicolina has sat on the Advisory Board of Halsbury's Laws of England since 2016.
Prior to this, Nicolina was Chair of her Local Chamber of Commerce and Council Member for London Chamber of Commerce for 3 years. She has held a number of Trustee roles supporting local enterprises and empowering local communities.
Nicolina believes in the importance of having a solid foundation to her NED career and in 2021 successfully passed the 'gold standard' Financial Times Postgraduate Diploma for NEDs together with a certificate from Cambridge Judge Business School in Fintech Innovation.
